Celebrate this year’s fabulous tomato harvest at the Rosendale Farmers Market on Sunday, August 22! There are currently at least two dozen different tomato varieties—both heirloom and new introductions, and all will be available for sampling free of charge at the next market.
Market visitors will also be able to try pasta with tomatoes and fresh herbs and Kenny’s Killer Gazpacho, all for free. Great cajun music will be played by Cleoma’s Ghost. The market offers a selection of fruits, veggies, dairy, breads, desserts and meats. Every week there’s something new to discover—an heirloom white peach, a special honey, a hand-crafted cheese, a new variety of squash or home-made pretzels.
For more information look for the market’s FaceBook page, or call 339-0819. The market runs every Sunday from 9 AM to 2 PM, rain or shine, in the parking lot of the Rosendale Community Center at 1055 Route 32, Rosendale.
